Irene Lorraine Zavitz

Irene Lorraine Zavitz of North Bay, Ontario, passed away on October 3, 2026. She is survived by her husband Harold, her son Lawrence, her brother Lorne, and her son Wilbert Zavitz (Stephanie) of North Bay. Irene is also remembered by her daughters-in-law, Kathy Zavitz of Watford and Lorraine Otto (David) of Kitchener, along with her grandchildren, Fraser Zavitz, Melissa Zavitz (Elijah Bailey), Joshua, Stephanie (Fletcher Peters), Graham, and Serena Otto. She is further survived by her siblings-in-law, Noreen Butler, Esther Zavitz, Jan Zavitz, and John Egan, as well as her parents, Roy Willoughby and Pearl Willoughby. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to the Arkona Baptist Church or Canadian Baptist Ministries: 'Keep a Child in School: Kenya.'
