Hilda Lebel

Hilda Lebel, a resident of North Bay, Ontario, was born on January 19, 1947 and died on August 9, 2026, at the age of 79. She was predeceased by her husband Jean‑Guy Lebel, her siblings Martin Tessier (late Barb), Maurice Tessier (late Lenora), Cecile Wye (late Clare) and Leo Tessier, as well as her parents Albert and Dora Tessier. Survivors include her children Dana Lebel (married to Chris Benard) and Natalie Von Doeler (married to Shawn), grandchildren Zoë and Kaylee, her siblings Mai Ward (married to late Carmen) and Dorothy Melville (married to late Chris), and her pets Tyson, Keena, Maggie, Walter and Bella. Visitation was held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McGuinty Funeral Home, 591 Cassells Street, North Bay. A funeral Mass followed on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Pro Cathedral, 480 McIntyre Street West, North Bay. The family gratefully acknowledges donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
