Gratien "Jeff" COMEAU

The family announces with deep sorrow the passing of Gratien "Jeff" Comeau in Sturgeon Falls on June 27, 2026, at the age of 96. He was the son of Odilon and Gratia Comeau (née Comeau) and the beloved husband of the late Ida Comeau (née Miron). Jeff is survived by his children, Gisèle Lachance (Richard) and Luc (Marie-Noël), and will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Erik (Ashley), Mathieu (Kaitlyn), and Maya. He was a brother to the late Marcel (the late Yvonne), the late Laurent (Diane), Fernand (Florence), Jean-Marie (Rachel), and Gérard (Pauline). The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Domaine Leclair, West Nipissing General Hospital, and Dr. Beaucage, as well as to Normand for his friendship. Funeral services will be held at Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home and Crystal Crematorium on Tuesday, July 28, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:30, followed by a service. Donations to the Club de l'amitié de Verner or the Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
