Evelyn Steele

Evelyn Steele of North Bay, Ontario, passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on July 10, 1931, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Colvin "Smokey" Steele, her parents, Fred and Hilda Webster, and her siblings, Fred Webster and Ruth Mack. She is survived by her children, Marlene, Tim, and Robert; her grandchildren, Taralyne, Dana (Arnold), Natasha, and Nathan; and her great-grandchildren, Seth, Dean, Victoria, Brooklynn, Tayvia, Ahnylah, Brantley, and Bodhi. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Hillside Funeral Services Ltd., followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. A burial will occur on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Valleyview Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Cassellholme Home Long-Term Care Home.
