Doris "Bonnie" Irwin

Doris "Bonnie" Irwin, aged 94, a long-time resident of Sudbury, passed away on June 30, 2026, in North Bay, Ontario. Born on December 21, 1931, in Eugenia, Ontario, she lived a fulfilling life surrounded by her family and friends. Bonnie is survived by her children, Ray (Jayne), Peter (Michele), and Lori (Peter), as well as her grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah, Makenzie, Leviya, Bryn, and Carter. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William "Bill" Irwin. An avid sports enthusiast, Bonnie enjoyed spending time at hockey arenas, ballparks, and curling rinks, passionately supporting the Toronto Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs. In accordance with her wishes, a private remembrance will be held for her family, and those who knew her are encouraged to honor her memory in their own way.
