Charles White

Charles White of North Bay, Ontario, passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on August 20, 1932, he was predeceased by his parents, Ada P. White and George White, as well as his siblings: Alvin White (Olive), Grace Baker, Bruce White (Ellen), Fred White (Daisy), Hazel Wardell (Jim), and Dora Welch. Charles is survived by his wife, Celina Marie Turcotte; his children, Stephen White (Liz), Christine Bellaire (Ronald), and Cathryn McGirr (Paul); and his grandchildren, Bradley White (Ashley), Derek White (Tracey), Gregory White (Casey), Dennis Degagne (Stacey), Candace McGirr, Devin McGirr (Tessa), and Gavin McGirr. He also leaves behind great-grandchildren Ewen, Vanessa, Abigail, Nora, Quinn, Rowan, and Gwen, along with close friend Charlotte Pinkerton (Lottie). Visitation will take place on October 23, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Services Ltd. A funeral Mass will be held on October 24, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Jesus Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Name of Jesus Church.
