Anita Marie Jennine ST-ONGE

Anita Marie Jennine St-Onge passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 86 in hospital in Châteauguay, Québec. Born in Témiscaming, Québec, Anita spent her early years there before working for a large lumber company and later moving to Montréal for better opportunities. She eventually settled in Châteauguay, where she lived for the remainder of her life. Anita was a devoted sister to Cécile (Nick Davidiuk; deceased) and is now reunited with her siblings and their spouses: Louis (Dora), Leda (Wilfred Labelle), Fleurette (Aurélien Cousineau), Herve (Inez), and Roger, along with her parents, Bernard and Sophranie. She was a beloved aunt and will be missed by her best friend and roommate, Pam Blackmore, as well as many friends and neighbors. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 8, at 11 a.m. at Saint Theresa's Church in Témiscaming, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Donations in her memory may be made to your local SPCA or Humane Society.
