Ross Thorne TAYLOR

Ross Thorne Taylor passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on April 29, 1943, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ross was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Janet. Ross is lovingly remembered by Janet; his son Jonathan Taylor and daughter-in-law Debbie Taylor; grandchildren Leah, Luke, and Benjamin; brother Murray Taylor; sister-in-law Kathy Emery; brothers-in-law Jim Edgar, Bob Edgar, and David Edgar; along with many nieces and nephews who were dear to him. Ross was predeceased by his beloved son Jason in 2005, his sister Lois Clift in 1989, his father Cyril Taylor in 1996, and his mother Katherine Taylor in 2004. The family extends sincere thanks to Hospice Niagara, the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region, Ontario Health at Home, Home Care Solutions, St. Elizabeth Health Care, ParaMed, and Home Instead for their compassionate care and support. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ross's life on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Interment and a light luncheon will follow.
