Joseph David SOLOMON

Joseph David Solomon returned home to God on September 1, 2026, at the age of 87. He was a devoted husband to Nancy for 62 years and is survived by his sons Mark and Maria, and John and Heather. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Michael, Katherine, Liam, and Eileen. Joseph was the son of the late Mark and Wanda Solomon and brother to the late Paul and Dolores Hlady. He cherished his many cousins in the Niagara and Western New York areas. A dedicated member of St. Patrick's Parish since 1939, Joseph served in various roles within the Niagara Falls Knights of Columbus, including as Faithful Navigator of Fr. Hennepin Assembly 1831. He worked for over 25 years as the Superintendent of Facility Management for the Niagara Region. Known for his deep faith and integrity, Joseph's love for his family and his passion for history shaped his life. Friends may visit Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Monday, September 7th from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 11 a.m., followed by the rite of Committal at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Vincent De Paul Society of St. Patrick Conference would be appreciated.
