James WILLIAMS

James Leslie (Jim) Williams passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, at the age of 82. He was the much loved husband of Karol (nee Jazlowiecki) of 56 years. Jim was a loving dad to Danny (Betty) and Denise (Dave) and a proud grandfather to Jimmy (Delia), Jason (Brittany), Brock (Rachel), and Becky (Jaxson), as well as a step grandpa to Jacob (Taylor) and a great grandfather to Emery, Kai, and Phoenix. Born on December 26, 1943, in Niagara Falls to Beatrice (nee Eller) and Reginald Williams, Jim was the youngest of five children. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers John and Ernie, and sister-in-law Shirley Williams. Jim is survived by his only sister, Joyce Carpenter, brother Eldon (Sandy), and sister-in-law Beryl Gilbert, as well as many nieces and nephews. After retiring from BF Goodrich, where he worked as an electrician for 25 years, Jim spent the rest of his working years on his farm, Williams Orchards in Fonthill, which he and Karol worked for 46 years. A proud member of the Masonic Fraternity for many years, Jim will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him. A service will be held on Sunday, June 21st at 3PM at Pleasantview Funeral Home, with a reception to follow.
