William "Bill" Sr. HOLMES

William 'Bill' Holmes Sr. passed away peacefully at GNGH on July 16, 2026, at the age of 88, surrounded by his family. Born in Niagara Falls on September 21, 1937, Bill was a skilled machinist who spent most of his career at General Motors in St. Catharines. He is survived by his sons, Bill Jr. and his wife Anna, and Tim and his wife Shelley, as well as his grandchildren, Alexandra and Katherine. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Angela 'Angie'. He will be deeply missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and his cat, Benz. Bill's family will receive friends at Patterson Funeral Home.
