William Albert "Bill" BENSON

William Albert 'Bill' Benson passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 77, surrounded by love at Westhills Care Centre. He was reunited with his beloved spouse, Linda Burke, who predeceased him in 2025. Bill is survived by his loving stepchildren, Jennifer Rivard and Jason Burke, and his cherished grandchildren, Andrew McCraw, Abbey McCraw, Jacob Burke, Carter Burke, and Mitchell Burke. He is also survived by his sons, Kevin and Brandon Benson, and his sister, Isabelle Hannah. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Bill dedicated his life to serving others, notably as a member and past president of the Lions Club. He built a respected career in the construction industry as an estimator and successful business owner. The family extends gratitude to the team at Westhills, particularly Alice and Loretta, for their exceptional care. As per Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held on August 22, 2026, at the Niagara Falls Lions Club Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
