Wanda Harding
Wanda Louise Harding passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, at the age of 72, with her family by her side at the Niagara General Hospital. She will be deeply missed by her partner, John Cote, as well as her children, Roxanne and Byron, and their spouses, Chris and Megan. Wanda was also a devoted grandmother to Ty, Kohen, Olivia, and Ryker. She is survived by her sisters, Eunice and Wilma, and sister-in-law, Ann, in addition to her extended family. Wanda was predeceased by her parents, William and Louise Misner, her brothers, Lawrence, Aldrich, and Gary, and her sisters, Thelma and Ardythe, as well as her previous husband, Byron, and friend, Val. Born in Woodville, Nova Scotia, Wanda later moved to Niagara Falls, where she raised a family and pursued a career as a nurse. She went on to become a successful entrepreneur, owning several businesses, including Nimigon Retirement Home, Tanarama, and Townline Tanning. Wanda also gave back to her community through her involvement with the Chippewa RiverHawks Junior 'C' hockey club. In her retirement, she enjoyed watching sports and spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Antoine Ghaly for his dedicated care and compassion.
