Ross Thorne TAYLOR

Ross Thorne Taylor passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on April 29, 1943, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ross was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Janet. Ross is lovingly remembered by Janet, his son Jonathan and daughter-in-law Debbie, grandchildren Leah, Luke, and Benjamin, brother Murray, sister-in-law Kathy, brothers-in-law Jim, Bob, and David, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Jason, sister Lois, father Cyril, and mother Katherine. Ross earned his private pilot's licence, built his family's home, and served both church and community, including leadership roles with the Greater Niagara General Hospital Foundation and non-profit housing in Fort Erie. He built a successful financial services practice and was passionate about helping charities through planned giving. In retirement, he volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and enjoyed travelling with Janet. The family extends thanks to Hospice Niagara, the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region, and other organizations for their compassionate care and support. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, with visitation and a service to be held on July 7, 2026.
