Rocco Domenico Giammarco
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Rocco Domenico Giammarco of Niagara Falls, Ontario. Rocco was born on August 16, 1936, and he passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Costantina "Connie" Giammarco; his sisters, Olga Pacella (L. Vincenzo), Velia Ventresca (L. Carmen), and Angelina Giovanucci (L. Luigi); his parents, Fiore Giammarco and Pasqua Giammarco; his godson, Thomas "Tommy" McCracken; and his brother-in-law, Salvatore "Sam" Elia (L. Kim). Rocco is survived by his children, Carlo, Dino, and Dianna Giammarco; his grandchildren, David Giammarco and Dr. Erica Giammarco Sutherland (Tyler); and his siblings-in-law, Yolanda Fera (Frank), Philomena McCracken (Frank), Peter Elia, and Anna Lee (Dan). Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home located at 6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9. A prayer service took place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 5:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, located at 6548 Dorchester Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5T5. In memory of Rocky, and in lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations made in his name to a Catholic Church, Music-Arts Facility, or Sports Centre.
