Robert "Bob" Alexander MATSON

Robert 'Bob' Alexander Matson passed away peacefully at his home on July 13, 2026, at the age of 81. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Lynn, and their children, Joanne, Robert, and Christine. Bob is also survived by his brother David, sister Marilyn, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Doris Matson, brother William, and sister Dorothy. Bob had a distinguished teaching career spanning over 30 years with the District School Board of Niagara. He was a dedicated member of his community, serving on the board of Lundy's Lane United Church and later Stamford Lane United Church, and was a proud Rotarian. Bob will be deeply missed by his family, including his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will remember his love for history, his passion for restoring classic cars, and his dedication to his community.
