Mario Romano

Mario Romano, a resident of Niagara Falls, Ontario, was born on April 27, 1946, and died on August 6, 2026, at the age of 80. He was predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Maria Romano, his parents‑in‑law Giovanni and Gelsomina Nave, and his siblings Nicola Romano (late Ida) of Italy, Angela Nave (late Giuseppe) of Australia, and Mafalda Palladino (late Vito) of Italy. He is survived by his wife Josephine Nave, his children Maria and John, his grandchild Chandler, and his siblings Giovanna Nave (married to Carmine) and Antonio Romano (married to Angela) of Niagara Falls. Visitation took place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 5Z9, with a prayer service at 2:30 PM the same day. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Scapular Church, 6557 Thorold Stone Road, Niagara Falls, ON L2J 1B2. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Walker Family Cancer Centre, the Niagara Falls Humane Society, and the Jays Care Foundation.
