Kathleen (née Green) VAN DER KANT

Kathleen Van Der Kant, née Green, passed away peacefully at home on July 20, 2026, at the age of 77. She was the beloved wife and lifelong dance partner of Martin, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Kathleen was a devoted mother to Jackie, Rose, and Sheila, and a proud grandmother to Bram, Bret, Ethan, and Quin. She was predeceased by her siblings Mary, Bill, Dorothy, Jack, Donald, Jim, Albert, and Douglas. Kathleen will be remembered by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was an accomplished golfer, earning the Senior Ladies' Championship title twice at Beechwood Golf Club. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 16, 2026, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Beechwood Golf Club, with a eulogy at 3:30 p.m.
