John Gabriel Olsiak

John Gabriel Olsiak of Niagara Falls, Ontario, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on January 26, 1932, in Fort Erie, Ontario, John was a cherished member of his family and community. He was predeceased by his nephew Mark Thomas, his parents Joseph and Maria, and his siblings Anne, Joseph, and Margaret. John is survived by his wife Helen, daughters Cathy Litschko (Paul) and Karen Laccheo (Mario), grandchildren Jordan, John, Kayla, and Sarah, as well as his niece Laura Potalivo (Michael). He is also remembered by his nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces. Visitation took place on October 8, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home, located at 6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9. A funeral Mass was celebrated on October 9, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick Church, 4673 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2E4B8. Donations may be made in John's memory to the Niagara Health Foundation or St. Patrick's Church.
