Jean Shanks Allan Hunter Blair
Jean Shanks Allan Hunter Blair of Niagara Falls, Ontario, passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on August 20, 1931, Jean shared her life with family, friends, and colleagues. She is survived by her husband, Alexander Blair; her children, Alan Blair (Ada), Carol McRae (Len), and Janice Hines (Pete Chernecki); and her grandchildren, Ryan and Tayna Blair. Jean was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation took place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Patterson Funeral Home Ltd. A funeral service followed at 12:00 PM at the same location. In memory of Jean, memorial contributions may be made to Stamford Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice, which would be appreciated by her family.
