Horace RUSSELL

Horace Edward 'Scope' Russell of Niagara Falls passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, at his home at River Road Retirement Residence, at the age of 97. He was predeceased by his beloved wife and dance partner Ann, who died in 2020, with whom he shared 67 wonderful years of marriage, and by his eight brothers and sisters. Horace is lovingly remembered by his daughters Nancy Stewart and her husband Don, Sally Russell, and Linda Misener and her husband Mike. He is also remembered by his grandchildren Sarah Stewart and her husband Andrew, Emily Stewart and her husband James, Whitney Stevens and her husband Nick, Nicholas de St. Croix, Jordin Misener, and Bradley Misener and his wife Kaitlyn. He was a proud great-grandfather of Abigail and Russell Misener, and Eleanor Stevens. Horace will also be remembered by his sisters-in-law Betty Rienzo and her husband Victor, Helen Letourneau and her husband Claude, many nieces and nephews, dear friends, and neighbours. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the management and staff at River Road Retirement Residence for their thoughtful care and kindness. Arrangements were entrusted to Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel.
