Henry WASLOWSKI

Henry Waslowski passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, in his 99th year, at the age of 98. He was the husband of the late Lorraine Waslowski (née Rizzo). Henry is survived by his loving children, Jim (Roxanne), Jeff (Debbie), Dianne Waslowski Gowthorpe (Peter), and Tom (Lorena), and his sister Mary Ann Diodati (Jim Sr.). He will be fondly remembered by his 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and 16 nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his siblings, Irene Smatana, Bernice Passek, and Eddie Waslowski. Born in Myrnam, Alberta, Henry moved to Simcoe, Ontario, with his family at the age of six and later settled in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The family will receive friends at Patterson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., followed by a private family rite of committal in Fairview Mausoleum. Donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
