Gerald LaValley

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald LaValley of Niagara Falls, Ontario, who departed this life on September 5, 2026, at the age of 92. Gerald was born on January 12, 1934. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Bolus, and his children: Charmaine LaValley (Wayne Rogers), Rob Rick (Lorraine), Louann Rochat (Jack), Shari Bolus (Clay), Kerri Polston (Wesley), Tanya Bolus, and Tara Formisano (Fabio). He also leaves behind his stepchildren: Ronnie McKay, Judy Zimmerman (Lynn), Christine Wood (Brent), and Kenny McKay, along with his siblings: Albert Lamoure (Julie), Ray McKay (Ersel), Maxine Kay Scale (Dennis), Brian Beaudin (Judy), and Bill Beaudin (Linda). Gerald was a proud grandfather to many, including Marianne, Tom, Lynne, Barry, Dale, Karrie, Brett, Rebecca, Kristi, Jamie Bolus, Aisha Willick, Billy Prest, Jordan Prest, David Rochat, Maloya Rochat, Brieann Rochat, Landon McCracken, Lenaya McCracken, Alexandria Prest, Jaxton Polston, Maddax Polston, Aidan Formisano, and Alyssa Formisano, as well as 19 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a service at 3:00 PM at Patterson Funeral Home Ltd., located at 6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9.
