Gary EDWARDS

Gary Edwards passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the age of 82, after a brief illness. He is reunited with his loving wife Vikki (née Gunn, 2016), his parents Edmund Sr. and Shirley, and his brothers Lester, Glen, Edmund, Wayne (Linda), and Morley. Gary is survived by his children Laurie (Dan), David, Jo-Ann (Tim), and Laurie (Clemens) Edwards; his grandchildren Miranda (Bob), Kyla (Stanley), Matthew, Cody, and Mackenzie; and his great-grandchildren Jake, Eli, and Layla. He is also survived by his brother Dale, his sisters-in-law Marjorie (Don), Roberta, Linda, and Lynn, and many nieces and nephews. Gary dedicated many years to General Motors and later worked at Walker Brothers for 20 years after retiring. He enjoyed simple pleasures like good food, watching sports and CNN, and taking relaxing cruises in his convertible. Gary cherished his family deeply and valued the time spent with them. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Niagara Falls. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gary may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
