Doreen WASYLUK (nee Burdeny)

Doreen Wasyluk (nee Burdeny) peacefully passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 90 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Morris Wasyluk (1995). Mrs. Wasyluk was predeceased by her parents, John and Elsie Burdeny, and her loving son, Brian Wasyluk, as well as her granddaughter, Hillary Wasyluk. She is survived by her son, Wayne Wasyluk, and his wife Suzanne, her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Wasyluk, and her brother, Larry (Rowena) Burdeny. Doreen will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Michael (Lauren) Wasyluk, Stefanie (Thomas) Wilson, Jaclyn (Greg Noseworthy) Wasyluk, Ryan Wasyluk, Paige Wasyluk, and Keeley Wasyluk, as well as her great-grandchildren, Waverley and Renleigh Wasyluk. Her many nieces and nephews will also miss her dearly. Born in Ethelbert, Manitoba, Doreen married the love of her life, Morris Wasyluk, and they raised two sons in Niagara Falls. She spent most of her career working in the bottling department of Chateau Gai Wines and was an active union representative. After her husband's passing, Doreen enjoyed traveling with family and friends, participating in various activities, and being an active parishioner of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church.
