Carol (Petts) MOTTOLA

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear and much-loved mother and grandmother, Carol Mottola (Petts), who passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 84. She had the most kind and generous heart and would do anything for her family. Her brave and unbelievable strength and character is what her family will remember the most. Carol was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, by Clayton and Dorothy Petts, where she dedicated her life to her family and her career as a registered nurse at the Niagara Falls General Hospital for decades. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion over the years. Carol is survived by her daughter Kelli Bosco (Larry), grandchildren Mike Mottola (Jill), Connor Bosco (Lisa), and Laurynn Bosco (Marko). She will be greatly missed by her sister Sharon Cole (Dave) and extended family Jean and Ken Hetherington, John and Carm Mottola, Peter and Judy Mottola, and all her many nieces and nephews. She will also be so greatly missed by her wonderful and longtime friend Sherri Branscombe (Chris Holmes). She was predeceased by her son Dean Mottola, her husband Alf Mottola, and her parents Clayton and Dorothy Petts. Private family arrangements at this time, and a future Celebration of Life will take place (date and times to be announced). As expressions of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Hospice Niagara.
