Marie KUEPFER

Marie Kuepfer of Newton passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the age of 82, at the Listowel Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late David J. Kuepfer (2005). Marie is lovingly remembered by her children, Rosanna and Levi Kuepfer of P.E.I., Emaline and Leonard Streicher of Elmwood, Anna Mae and David Kuepfer of Millbank, Albert and Elizabeth Kuepfer of Millbank, Mary Ann and Steven Streicher of Elmwood, and Elizabeth and Jeff Albrecht of Newton. She will be sadly missed by her 33 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. Marie is also survived by her siblings, Lydia Kuepfer, Emmanuel and Laura Jantzi, Sarah and Dan Jantzi, Fannie and David Jantzi, Solomon and Eileen Jantzi, and Harvey and Barbara Jantzi, as well as her many brothers and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her parents, Noah and Elizabeth Jantzi; her daughter, Marion Kuepfer (May 9, 2020); her parents-in-law, Joel and Christena Kuepfer; her brother-in-law, Peter Kuepfer; her grandson-in-law, Gary Kuepfer; and many brothers and sisters-in-law. Marie was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Family and friends may call at the family home, 6825 Perth Road 121, Millbank, on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until Friday at 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. with Bishop Adam Kuepfer officiating. Interment will follow in the 7th Line Amish Cemetery, Wellesley Township. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, Milverton.
