William Stanley Gilpin

William Stanley Gilpin of Newmarket, Ontario passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on July 9, 1945, he is survived by his wife Colleen, children Andrea, Tara Gilpin and her husband Matt, and Doug Gilpin and his wife Sylvia, as well as his grandchildren Madison Joshua, Sofia, Nicolas, Peter, and Emily. He is also survived by his sisters Pam and Heather, and many nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his siblings Norman, Freida, and Joy. A visitation will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home on August 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and a reception from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brain Cancer Research at The Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto, if desired.
