William Scanlon

William Scanlon of Newmarket, Ontario, passed away on September 10, 2026. He is survived by his siblings, Sister Mary Ellen Scanlon, Sally Nelean, and Joe Scanlon, as well as his father, Bill. William is also remembered by his family members, brother priests, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Visitation will take place on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at St. John Chrysostom Church, located at 432 Ontario St, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 10:30 AM, followed by burial at St. John Cemetery at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rose of Sharon.
