WILFRID O'HEARN

Wilfrid O'Hearn passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, at the age of 101, at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket. He is survived by his children, Marcia, Brian (Debbie), Maureen and Mona (Terry); grandchildren, Aidan Peleato (Nic), Erin O'Boyle (Jon), Cara and Noah O'Hearn; and great-grandson, Quinn Peleato. Wilfrid was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Frances (Koscielski). Born on December 31, 1924, Wilfrid will be remembered by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17th, at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 18th, at St. Luke's Church, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. A celebration of Wilfrid's life will be held on Saturday, May 16th, at the Newmarket Legion, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to the York Region Foodbank or the Poppy Fund of the Newmarket Legion.
