Raymond Woodend

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Raymond Woodend of Newmarket, Ontario. Raymond was born on March 9, 1935, and he passed away on October 15, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Florence and John Woodend, as well as his siblings, Les, Wilf, Reg, and Edie. Raymond is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his children, Susan (Chris), Andrew, Michael, and Dianne (Ryan); his grandchildren, Kayla, Luke, Lance, Vanessa, and Colby; and his great-grandchild, Noah. Visitation will take place on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, located at 157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM in the Playter Chapel of the same funeral home. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Easter Seals.
