Murray Longhurst

Murray Longhurst passed away in Newmarket, Ontario on August 18, 2026. He is survived by his wife Carlen Longhurst, his sons Neville and Bruce, his grandchildren Kyle and Ryan, his siblings Harold, Linda and Larry, and his parents Thomas and Audrey Longhurst. He was predeceased by Harold's wife, Judy. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9. A funeral service is scheduled for the same day at 1:00 p.m. with a second service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Albert Cemetery, 19675 Centre St, Mount Albert, ON L0G1M0. A reception will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Newmarket Legion, 707 Srigley St, Newmarket, ON L3Y1X4. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Canadian Lung Association.
