Michael Barretto

Michael Barretto, born on September 27, 1950, passed away on October 10, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lourdes Barretto, and his parents, Nicolau Barretto and Maria Ponciana Barretto. Michael is also mourned by his son, Michael, and his siblings: Santano (Mary), C. R. (Julie), Dominic, Pobre (Julie), Laura (Ali), JoJo (Loysi), and Josie. He was cherished by several nieces and nephews. Visitation took place on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Taylor Funeral Home, located at 524 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y2P3. A reception followed on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, located at 17955 Leslie St, Newmarket, ON L3Y9A4. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's name to the Palliative Care Unit of Southlake Health.
