Marija Kotnjek of Newmarket, Ontario, passed away on May 18, 2026. She is survived by her spouse Alojz Kotnjek, her child Lou, her daughter Anna and her husband David, her granddaughters Stephanie and her husband Ted Butcher, Katrina and her husband Joshua Bauer, and Alison and her husband Franco Fernandez, and her siblings Veronica, Anna, Irma, and Joe. Memorial donations in memory of Marija may be made to the Southlake Health Foundation or to St. John Chrysostom Parish Newmarket. Arrangements are entrusted to Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home.
