Louisa Moores

Louisa Moores, a resident of Newmarket, Ontario, died on August 17, 2026, at the age of 100. She was born on July 4, 1926. Predeceased by her husband Douglas, her daughter Janet Lahde, and her siblings Tom Davies, Ron Davies, Charlie Davies and Margaret Preece, she is survived by relatives in Holland Landing, her children Margaret Spracklin (the late Bob Spracklin), David Moores (the late Donna Moores) and Carol Corporon (Kevin Corporon), her son‑in‑law Kal Lahde, and her siblings Bill Davies, June Griffiths, Audrey Spilsbury and Betty Slarke. A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket, ON L3Y 2P3. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory.
