John Russell Christofolakos

John Russell Christofolakos of Newmarket, Ontario, passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 66. He was born on November 25, 1959. John is survived by his parents, Margaret Christofolakos and John Christofolakos of Prescott; his wife, Ana Luisa Christofolakos of Mexico City; and his stepson, Mark Duguay Sanchez (Connie Herrera) of Timmins. He is also remembered by his siblings, Anne Ortner, Michael Christofolakos, Peter Christofolakos (Kim Stephens), and Louise Christofolakos, along with his nieces, Samantha Stephens and Brianna Stephens-Christofolakos (Terry Mallon), and his nephew, Aidan Christofolakos. He is further survived by his parent-in-law, Guadalupe Margarita Alvarez, and siblings-in-law, Maria Elsa Sanchez (Arturo Flores), Roberto Garcia (Claudia Klein), Ricardo Garcia, and Alfredo Garcia, as well as his nieces and nephews, Claudia Flores, Karen Flores, Maria Fernanda Morales-Klein (Javier Morales), Roberto Garcia Jr., Erick Garcia, and Derek Garcia. The family appreciates donations to Margaret Bahen Hospice and Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket.
