It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Matheson of Newmarket, Ontario, who departed this life on September 27, 2026, at the age of 66. Janet was born on May 24, 1960. She is predeceased by her parents, Fred and Violet Mitchell, her aunt Marg, and her uncle Jack. Janet leaves behind her beloved husband, Donald, and her cherished children, Matt (Jen) and Rachel (Jeff). She was a proud grandmother to Mason and Kaidyn. Janet is also survived by her brothers, Tom, Mark, and Sean, as well as her close friends Lisa, Brenda, Diane, Cheryl, Adele, Christine, Tracey, and Jody.
