Hazel Norine (nee Longhurst) ANDRYECHEN

Hazel Norine Andryechen, at 82 years of age, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket. She was the dear wife of the late Freddy, beloved mother of David (Amy), and cherished daughter of the late Bertram and the late Nola Longhurst (nee Sedore) of Zephyr. Hazel was also a beloved sister of the late Mabel Stevenson (Carl), the late John, the late Blanche Henderson (the late Jack), Bill Longhurst (the late Gloria), the late Gail Henderson (Ron), Lynn Burton (Chris), and the late Bradley. She will be remembered as a cherished aunt to many nieces, nephews, and their families. A celebration of Hazel's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 382, 31 Princess St., Mount Albert, on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CAMH in Hazel's name.
