Grace-Ellen McCaig of Newmarket, Ontario, passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husband Doug McCaig, her son Jim, her brother George Vigus, and her parents, Olive Vigus and George Vigus. She is survived by her children, Bev, John, Rob, and Shirley; her grandchildren, Michelle, Stephanie, Lisa, Adam, Riley, and Kody; and her great-grandchildren, Athena, Emilee, Olivia, Joseph, Ava, Hallie, Everett, and Easton. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Southlake Health Palliative Care Program via the Southlake Foundation.
