Gerard Hyland

Gerard Hyland, born on January 17, 1952, passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife Sandy, his son Matthew (Trish), and his mother-in-law Lois Key (Ron). He also leaves behind his siblings-in-law, Debbi Lund (Ken), Sharon Key (Mark), and Barry Key (Edith), as well as his nieces, Shawna and Jennifer (Kevin), and his nephew Andrew (Tamara). Gerard was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Marion, and his brother Brian. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home, located at 524 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y2P3. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Southlake Regional Cancer Centre through the Southlake Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
