Cheryl (Sherry) Jane Irwin

The family announces the passing of Cheryl (Sherry) Jane Irwin of Newmarket, Ontario, on October 17, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on January 2, 1957, Cheryl was deeply connected to many relationships throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Bert and Bernice, as well as her siblings, Bev Ferguson, Dan (Laurie), Carol (Larry Salmon), and Doug. Cheryl is survived by her brother-in-law Ken Ferguson (Shirley) and her nieces and nephews, Patti Ferguson, Susan (Rudy Brouwers), Miriam Ben (Rudy Reager), James Irwin, Michael Salmon, Lisa (Paul McPhail), Jacob Irwin (Christina), and Jessie Irwin (Jesse). She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and many dear friends and neighbors. Donations in Sherry's memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, Juravinski Cancer Center in Hamilton, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
