Bruna Bandiera

Bruna Bandiera of Newmarket, Ontario passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 99. She was born on August 31, 1926. Predeceased by her parents, Gesué Simeoni and Aurelia Gazzola, and by her husband Galdino Bandiera, Bruna is survived by her daughters Aurelia (Alberto) and Gina; her grandchildren Adam (Krystin), Ricky (Kari), Marisa (Barry), Shaun (Claudia), Jason (Sarah) and Ashley (Joe); and her great‑grandchildren Chloe, Dylan, Avry, Alyssa, Sebastian, Ava, Layla, Ariella, Lorenzo, Ilaria and Larissa. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 15347 Yonge Street, Aurora, ON, followed by an entombment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Flowers and candles may be sent, and condolences may be recorded in the online guestbook.
