Anna Irene O'Rourke

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Irene O'Rourke of Newmarket, Ontario, who departed this life on October 9, 2026, at the age of 68. Anna Irene is survived by her children, Lindsay Sexton and Mackenzie O'Rourke; her granddaughter, Scottie Harris; and her siblings, Jean Phillips and Mike Koras. She was predeceased by her parents, Sophie Pendela and Andy Pasztor, as well as her husband, Michael O'Rourke. Visitation took place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Taylor Funeral Home, located at 524 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y2P3. A funeral service was conducted on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same venue, followed by a burial at Newmarket Cemetery, 112 Main St N, Newmarket, ON L3Y4A1, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Baycrest Foundation, which focuses on innovative research in Dementia and Alzheimer's.
