Ann Rau

Ann Rau of Newmarket, Ontario, passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on October 20, 1958, she was the beloved wife of Gary and devoted mother to her children, Monika and Richard, and daughter-in-law Claire. Ann was predeceased by her parents, Marion and Richard Barrett. She is survived by her siblings, Mary (Roman), Catherine (late Carl), and Tom (Sandra), as well as her aunt Shirley (late Don), uncle Greg (Irena), and stepfather Ralph Pierre. Ann also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Temperance Hall at Sharon Museum & Gardens, located at 18974 Leslie St, Sharon, ON L0G1V0. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southlake Foundation.
