John Elmer Johnston passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, at the age of 82. He was the dear son of the late Raymond and Arvella, and the beloved husband of the late Gaile. John was the loving father of Tamara (Chris), Teresa (Jim), and Tonya (Dave), and the proud Poppa of Natasha (Ryan), Connor (Matthew), Dakota (Nicole), Ashley (Conner), and Taylor (Znak), and cherished Grand Poppa of Kendra, Amylia, Henry, and Benjamin. He was the brother of Raymonda (Murray), Marilyn, Larry (Heather), and the late Jane (Ross). John was predeceased by his best friends Toby, Midas, and Buddy, his dogs. A BBQ to celebrate John's life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of John may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
