18 May Doreen Lilian Howard (nee Pomeroy)

Doreen Lilian Howard (nee Pomeroy) passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 82. She was the loving wife of Bruce for 61 years. Doreen was the amazing and much-loved mother of Andrew Howard (Christine) and Jennifer Lalonde (Michel). She was the adored grandma/neema to Jacob, Gabriel, and Victoria (Jordan), and a special 'grandma Doreen' to Anthony, Connor, and Brooklynne. Doreen also leaves behind her siblings, Sandra, Lee (Liz), and Cindy (Jeff), as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by none mentioned in the family. The family would like to extend thanks to the nurses at RVH for treating her with dignity and comfort in her final hours. Cremation was entrusted to Peaceful Transition. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the RVH auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
