Josephine "Josie" McKinnon (née Scott) passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 8, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on January 8, 1934, in Belfast, Ireland, to Ellen Muir and Alec Scott, she was the cherished younger sister of Aileen and Mary. Josie was the beloved mother of Michael (Sheila) and Patricia Shanahan, and lovingly known as Grandma Josie or Granny to her grandchildren—Matthew (Meghan), Amanda (Marc), and Brendan (Divya). She was also blessed to spend cherished time with her great-grandchildren, Sloane and Levi, Max, and Noah. Private family arrangements have been made.
