Murray Robinson WALTON

Murray Robinson Walton, the third and youngest son of Earl and Elsie Walton, born and raised in the village of Newcastle, Ontario, passed away on March 4, 2026, at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, at the age of 96. He was predeceased by his wife Audrey Walton and their first son Ted Walton; his brother Douglas Walton; and Barbara Masters, his partner later in life. He is survived by his remaining children Susan Taylor, Robin, and James Walton; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. His family gathered at the Snug in Newcastle on March 28 to celebrate his life with a shared meal and a sharing of memories. As promised, Murray's ashes were quietly laid to rest on May 14 at Bond Head Cemetery.
