Norman Kenneth HOLDEN
Norman Kenneth Holden passed away peacefully with his family on Friday, December 5, 2025, in his 90th year. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn, who predeceased him, for 57 years. Born in 1936, Norm was the son of the late Ken and Edna Holden. He is survived by his children, Loreen, Kent, and Kim, and their spouses, Michelle Stein, Stephen Priamo, and Naomi Batiancila. Norm was a proud grandpa of Alyx, Elliott, Isaac, Katie May, Jace, Maggie, Cleomarie, and Clairese, and a great-grandfather to Thompson, Clark, Cyrus, and Ryan. He is also survived by his brother, Brent, and sister-in-law, Anne, as well as several nephews and nieces, including Paul and Chris Berstling, Ian, Michael, and Eric Holden, and Alicia Ellis. Norm was predeceased by his sister, Joyce, and brother-in-law, Frank Berstling. He will be remembered for his fascinating career in counterintelligence and counterespionage, which spanned 24 years with the RCMP and later with CSIS in Vancouver.
