Jean Beatrice (Hutchings) DART

Jean Beatrice Dart (Hutchings) passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on April 29, 2026, at Nithview Community Long Term Care in New Hamburg. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Jean was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Minnie (Lowe) Hutchings and a longtime resident of Stouffville and later, New Hamburg. She was the cherished wife of the late William John Dart. Jean was a devoted and loving mother to Nancy Williamson, Timothy Dart (Karen), and William Dart Jr. (Rita). She was a proud and caring grandmother to Halyna King (David), Ross Williamson, Michaelle Davis, Jackson Dart, Sara May (Sean), and Kristian Dart (Sarah), and a treasured great-grandmother to Elizabeth, Starlynn, Aries, Elvira, and Lyla. She will be dearly missed by her close friend and roommate, Melba Chapman. Jean was predeceased by her son-in-law Bryan Williamson, her brother Ken Hutchings and his wife Irene, and her sister Constance Shaw and her husband Gordon. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Nithview Community Long Term Care for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Jean and her family over the years. Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
